Class - Shamrock Winged Dish - Larry Lemon - 03/15/26

About this event

Shamrock Winged Dish
Students will use face plate and recess mounting techniques to turn
winged plate with center cup. The tools used will include bowl gouges
and scrapers as well as some sanding. Work will be done with a lathe
and a one-inch belt sander. A wood burning tool will be used for
signing. You are welcome to bring your own tools sandpaper and
finish. All tools and materials will also be provided, including a Silver
Maple blank cut in the form of a Shamrock.
The biggest challenge of this project is turning uniform thickness
wings while cutting air.
Please bring your own personal safety equipment and
lunch since there are no close by food establishments.
